    Hi there!

I used to be a proud couponer, and was quite active here years ago. Unfortunately I became very I'll with cancer.

I somehow stopped couponing as a result.

I have just been diagnosed with a recurrence and as a strange turn if events, I have come back to couponing as a means of survival as I am unable to work and my SO is losing mass time to be at home helping.

Its been quite awhile and things seem much different so looks like I have some learning to do,but very much look forward to bring part of the community again!

I'm sorry for your illness and financial struggles. Wishing all the best for you and your SO, and may your coupon savings make things a smidge easier!

You may have already done this, but get every benefit that is available to you to help make ends meet. And check out all the social service benefits available to you. Do you have a case worker? Is there a social service worker linked with your local hospital or clinic that you can see for assistance?

    (((hugs)))

Since you are unable to work would you qualify for a disability pension from CPP? All the best and take care.

Hi there.. Sorry for my absence.. In a string of bad luck my dad passed away.

Hoping I can get focused now.

I do receive CPP, thank you... There are not many resources out there for younger adults with cancer... I've searched. I actually used yo run a non profit organization for young adults with cancer and did fundraising for people in my situation, but had to resign when I became too Ill. There is a real shortage of resources. At any rate, thank you for the warm welcome!
