Popping in to say hi, and to let you know that you are in my thoughts.

I am back at Princess Margaret tomorrow for my once over of blood work, vitals, exam etc. It's gonna be a new experience for me as Sue was the first person I called when I got home. She was so good to me. I still can't believe that she is gone. My heart just aches, but I know she would want me to keep up my fight & go on with knocking this damn disgraceful sinister disease out of the park.
Loocie is going to keep on putting up my dukes to fight!!!
p.s. I am touched by all of you who make me feel like a worthy person. Your words mean so much to me.
xx

Hope your visit to PM was full of no news.
Good stuff always comes later!
I took your advise and did a lot of people watching today, it was fun.
Smiled at everyone I saw, OK I tried anyways.
But when I came out of the procedure and many waiting eyes were upon me...
Disheveled and shocked, Some part of me wanted to scream in terror to the 10 people waiting to go in...
Ration won out,
I smiled gave the thumbs up to next poor fellow heading in, and said not too bad...

I hope this finds you all content & happy. I have thought about you all & I’m just checking in. Said our final goodbyes to my s-i-l.
I am feeling very lost right now. One of the stages of grieving – no need to analyze as I sure get it. The reality that Sue is really gone hurts & seems to be swirling around in my heart at the moment.
My Princess Margaret appointment went well on Tuesday. My blood work was very good & my bp is stable. I don’t know if this makes sense, but I get a sense of satisfaction & even joy conversing with Le Club PMH. We all have a story & we all have a family & we are all individuals who share a common cause first & foremost.
I adore my doc, she is first class & so accommodating with all my questions.
My Tuesday ritual at Princess Margaret – I would rather have a Tuesday ritual of wings & beer at the pub…..but I have an unwanted intruder that I am taking care of at the moment.
Thank you all for your uplifting words of support. They truly inspire me. We all have events in our lives that we have to work through & loss is one of the rotten ones that are on that list.
When I was at the hospital the other day, people were literally spilling out into the hallways & corridors because the seating in the waiting room was jammed. Isn't that a shame that a seat in the waiting area of the blood lab is at a premium. May all of the 200 plus types of cancer & 50 or so types of sarcoma…. Go the Hell!
As Sparty would say….”peace & love”

Here I go again with a little reputation distribution,
The reason is quite simple reppin’s part of my constitution,
So ,now to list some reasons why you people are deserving,
The more you give, the more you get & there’s no need for conserving,
Rep is given to those of you who took a step back to reconsider.
& rep if you don’t hold on to a grudge, cause you know it makes you bitter,
Rep for keeping things that you just cannot throw away,
& rep because you will get to it, but it just won’t be today,
Rep for positive energy & rep for happy thoughts,
& rep if you’ve ever been surprised by the effects of jello shots,
Rep if you remember Lee Jeans & also GWG’s,
& rep if squeezing into them with required expertise,
Rep if you were a girl who used a curling iron to flip your hair,
& rep if you have ever spoken up when something was unfair,
Rep for the men & for the ladies too,
& rep if you’ve ever dated a guy named Lou,
Have a good day & rep if you’re able,
& do you think that reppin makes us more solid & stable?
Have yourselves a fine weekend

Love your reps poem
The line about Jello shots took me back in time to my 20's. I remember thinking "these are great! fun to eat, easy going down!" Ha ha yeah, too easy.
Good to hear your appointment went well this week. Now have a nice weekend!

Loocie,
Am so sooo sorry to hear of the loss of your SIL. Your short description of her alone creates a vision of a very special person. While she has passed and you sadly must suffer the grief, no one can take away the gifts of love she bestowed upon you and yours. She is forever a part of you. . .the part that you don't have to let go.
