Update:

Still no call back at 230 today from WCS, so I called again. And Insisted again on speaking to a supervisor! The supervisor is apparently calling the store itself, * Duh, Shouldnt this have been done already*, the woman I had been speaking to was already gone for the day again???? Sniff Sniff.. can someone else smell something fishy? Now we wait again. Supervisor said that if they made that aggreement then they should honor it, they can not just go and change the rules. SIGH.. I know.. now we are down to crunch time.. I need them by Thursday!

update again:

So the store manager called me, first off.. what a condicending man.. wow! Apparently Asprin is a narcotic? Since when? They spoke to the associate who made the error in ordering the previous order.. um.. ok.. but it was authorized by the manager.. , had to tell him NUMEROUS times to stop calling me MAam. Seriously, I think I am losing my nicey nice... I asked who is boss was, he said a name really mumbled, I asked for his number, he said I am the store manager I can not get a hold of him. I said that is unacceptable you are being rude, and making no sense a few more stammers... apparently now at the store level for a narcotic such as asprin the limit is 24, um ok.. if you would have told me that three weeks ago, i could have ordered in 24 lots to make up 183 I need, so I could have met the quanity I need and I could have jumped through your hoops for the right to shop at your store. But apparently that was just decided today, but I heard the quanity was 6 asprin 2 weeks ago... can someone please tell me this is confusing? Anyone else having similar issues?

hmm Brooke, "narcotic" um no... since when is an asprin a narcotic? if that was the cas you would need a RX for it & it would be carefully tracked by the RCMP ( yes all narc's are tracked bt RX from who the physician is to whom is recv'g it!) so if this was the case it would not be an over the counter medication!!!! omg!!! pls oh pls let me have this one ...
1) STOP the BS with them...PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN... ASK WHY IT IS AN OVER THE COUNTER MED... Ask for your refernce number...contact walmart US... tell them what is going on over this & how is has been the run around since day 1... tell them how YOU ARE UOSET OVER THIS ISSUE!!!... give them your ref. number and let the states come down on walmart canada! arrrggghhh!!! i am getting mad for you!

Update:
So, I tracked down Walmart 4th ave Bosses number and I gave them a ring. Read her the coupon and she was VERY puzzled as to what the issue was. She said your coupon matches the product you are trying to get, regardless of the quanity. She is now called Walmart 4th ave to speak to them. I told her about the narcotic comment to, and that I am not trying to screw the system, but work within in. That it is NOT ok for the rules of a transaction to be changed midway through espcially when I have already got Manager approval.

As I was typing this, I got a call from the Manager at 4th Ave, appologizing and an order is being placed for the quanity I need. FINALLY!!!! There has also been a change in Walmarts policy, that custom orders can only be ordered in certain quantities, check your individual stores for amounts. For Asprin it will be a max of 24.

WOWZA, that was a long long long dealing with them.. but done!
