I was sooo scared myself. Until I found my first insert, then u go to the next and find another insert. When someone was outside I would ask if it is ok for me to look for coupons. My first real walk I found 41 p&g 42redplums and 3 smartsources. Now I am pumped for the next. Once u find 1 thing worth taking u will be less ans less scared. Goodluck

Lol. One of the most embarrassing thing happened to me. A few days ago I tried a recycle walk. I saw an untouched Saturday newspaper sitting in the bin, so I slowly walked up to it and grabbed it. Then I booked it and ran back home. "Wow look at all these amazing deals in the flyer, why aren't any of these in my flyers," is what I said when I got home flipping through the paper. Then, I said, "where are the inserts." I checked the date and it said "Sept 2010." I was so dumbfounded when I found out. I just chuckled and chucked the paper in my recycling bin.

I don't think I am going to do another recycle walk. I do see papers and cereal boxes, but they're normally stuck between other stuff. I don't want to go flipping through. It's way too embarrassing.

I did my first recycle walk last week and I grabbed whole bags of papers so I didn't have to dig through on the side of the road. I went to a neighbourhood that had their garbage day 1 day before mine so I was able to put the papers I didn't use right back out on the curb that night.

I was super chicken to look in blue bins at first but after finding a few cereal box coupons and icoke caps it gets easier. I rescued my first ever p&g a few days ago, very exciting. Keep on looking so much to find
