My stockpile is gone!

I will be the first to admit I love when my shelves are full. I buy items when they are on sale with the hopes I will give them to family and friends. I now shop for 20 households which are 62 people. Ages vary from newborn - seniors. Cats, dogs, fish, and every animal you can think of. I do this because I enjoy couponing and the value it has on peoples lives. On top of my families I donate as much as I can do various organizations. Now, these families do give me some money so I can continue purchasing items for them but I get no personal gain out of it.

When I read SCer mandolinatou post about giving items away to her family/friends I got a HUGE motivation kick (thanks again!) For two months I ransacked my house finding every item I bought with the intention of giving to someone. I set everything out like a garage sale (sorry no pics, I was so stressed I completely forgot to take pictures) and opened my stockpile to all 62 people. I encouraged them to take atleast 6 months worth because I need a coupon break but they could take anything they wanted.

Yep, I think I just about died when I saw what was left LOL. I did forget to take photos of the gifts as well as the diaper I had. I had about 3,000 diapers I gave away in various sizes. Between my stockpile and gifts I believe in one day I gave away over $10,000 worth of product.

You know what? It was the best day I've had in a long time. Will get my coupon spunk back and do it all again!

isn't it the best feeling ever to give back? :) I set a 30$ donation goal every month and always seem to go over :razz: amazing job and have fun restocking and couponing until your heart is content :)

Wow! What a wonderful brag! People at my church have been saving coupon flyers for me. I haven't been able to shop much in the past couple of months but I have managed to pick up a few things that will make their way into our outreach program.

I already commented above but just wanted to add this. Many times we are quick to judge people's brag's wondering what the heck they do with all that stuff. Obviously we shouldn't do that but it's human nature to be curious when we see something we think is not the "norm". I know that MANY SCer's are doing great deeds behind the scenes. This is proof of that. I just want to say to all those people keep up the great work and Roxybabe you will be inspiring others and putting to rest many people's judgement. Thank you.

This is awesome! I think this is a great example that shows it doesn't take a lot of money to make huge differences in peoples lives, instead you've used your skills and time.
