Looking for A/V Material? WPL is having a big sale! And a BBQ! Saturday August 27

Most branches of the Windsor Public Library have removed VHS tapes from the collection, so there is going to be a big sale of tapes and other A/V materual at Central Library (850 Ouellette Ave) on Saturday August 27 from 9-5. The vast majority of items for sale will be VHS tapes but while setting up today I also saw some:
Music CDs and tapes
Books on tape and CD
CD Roms
DVDs

There will be movies for children and adults for sale and there will be some nonfiction videos for sale too, and some items in other languages. They should be in playable condition, since we throw items out if we get reports of them no longer working, but they are sold as is. The price is $1 each or $3 for a bagful (grocery bag sized - bags will be provided).

So if you still have a VHS player, Central Library is the place to be There will also be a barbecue on Saturday to support the Unemployed Help Centre Food Bank. They will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, pop, chips and ice cream. I am not sure of the prices. It will be on the front lawn from 11 am - 4 pm. Here is the poster.
