Anyone do surveys for this panel? I used to get at least a survey a week from them & now nothing for over 2 months.

Here the email reply they sent me today:

"There is a lot of work going on in the background; we have started this year focusing on the "end game" for our panel members, and that requires putting surveys on hold. Rest assured, as soon as we have new surveys to send, we will. "

What this means I do not know, but I have a sneaky suspicion that the points we earned may be worth nothing. It would have been nice if they had sent an email to their members or posted something on FB to let us know!

Hotspex still has survey, but just not releasing to Hotspex members. I just complete one product test survey from Hotspex via Webspective last week.

June 26 rec'd the following email

Hi D! You may have experienced a slow-down in survey invitations as of late, and for this we apologize. A lot of the client and brand work Hotspex is focused on right now is outside of North America so we don't have many surveys for our Canadian and USA based panelists. We are have heard that many of you WANT to take more surveys so we have explored some options to help you out.

We have identified several research survey companies that WANT you to take surveys for them. Many of them pay cash through PayPal or have other interesting incentive options.Soon you will start receiving invitations to join these panels. We hope you will consider them.

Please note that joining our partner research panels does not remove you from the Hotspex Panel. You'll remain a Hotspex Innovator, and will not lose your current BUX balance. Things are constantly changing in the world of market research and it is possible that we'll need more North American opinions in the months to come.

Hmmmm... not sure what to do yet. No surveys still. What to do. Guess wait and see who they've partnered with.

They are trying to make money referring us to other survey sites...got the same email.

I got the same "we're slow on business and we'd like to send your infor to other companies" I quickly replied I did NOT want my information shared that I join Hotspex and only Hotspex and did not want "partners" bothering me, I did get a quick reply that they did not intend to share my information... Which I found odd since well, how do you get other companies to mail you without sharing it?

Hotspex was good until they stopped the surveys I would get 2-3, save up the amazon gift amount and cash out, so far I think I cashed out like 10 20 and 10 so 40$ in amazon gift cards, I can't say I was unhappy with it since i liked the amazon.ca trade which was something I put to good use! 8-)

Oh well maybe they will pick up eventually again and we'll have more surveys.

In November I logged into my Hotspex account. It was still annoying me greatly I was one survey away from cashing out for $25 when they vanished...so when I logged in and poked around the redeem section, I discovered you could still cash out for Amazon codes. I had enough to cash out for 2 $10.00 amazon codes with points left over so I did. Anyhow, they never came so I emailed at least once a week and got a 'received' confirmation but never any reply. Imagine my surprise earlier this week when I woke up to find 2 - $10.00 codes in my email box. I put them into my Amazon account and they are valid! Yeah! So if you are like me and have a lot of useless points sitting there, this might be an option for you!
