Do you need to show optimum card when using personalized offers?

My dh lost his card and has the $2 off laundry soap in his personal offers that I would like to use. Will it work without a card? TIA!!

I'm just guessing here, but I'd say that yes, unfortunately you do need to show your card. The personalized coupons won't work unless a card has been scanned, and if you tried to use yours it probably wouldn't work either as the last 4 digits of the card are printed on the coupons.

Looks like he can get a replacement card in-store so you can still redeem the coupon

Q: What if my Shoppers Optimum Card is lost or stolen?
A: Simply visit any Shoppers Drug Mart store and advise them that you require a new card. Once you complete the replacement section of the enrollment form, you will receive your new card immediately. The store employee will mail your form to the Central Office and once it is received, the points from your old card will be transferred to your new card. Please allow 3-4 weeks for this to occur.


If you would like to have your old card deactivated until the points are transferred, please contact the Customer Service Centre at 1 800 SHOPPERs.

ETA: though I'm actually not sure if this will work as it seems he would get a new card number.

Thanks for the reply! I think someone might have found his card because his account is locked when he checked online. He will have to get a new number and won't be able to use these offers. Boo hoo! I so wanted Purex for .77

It does work without optimum card,
so many times cashiers also used mine personalized offers,
but cashier don't allow it without card,
I saw someone's post and she did used the personalized offers but forgot to use card

Seeing sam786's reply, it may be worth a shot for that Purex! It looks like the computer will allow it, it just depends on whether or not the cashier will enter it for you

Yes, it works with another optimum card as long as the cashier can enter the coupon code. I tried many times.... but some cashier will check the optiminum card carefully to make sure the 4digit number on the coupon matches the card.
