    Got the email too! I understand mistakes happen, but the amount of bad press that Sunlight is going to receive over this would far outweigh what it would cost if they owned up to their mistake and honoured the original prizes that people were told they had won. Pretty ridiculous that a company such as Sunlight didn't thoroughly test this contest to make sure it was executed properly so that this wouldn't happen.

    They covered their butts by putting in the fine print. Basically saying that if there is a glitch, they would randomly select the 2000 winners. Companies make mistakes and don't have to do these awesome contests at all. I don't understand why people feel entitled to a prize when clearly it was a glitch. Bad press or not everyone will still buy their products and if people are going to boycott them because of this...then thats just plain ridiculous

    This sounds very much like the Europe's Best fiasco, not enough time spent in testing before launch. Oh well, there's still time left in this contest, here's hoping at least some of us legitimately win!

    I never said I felt entitled to a prize, nor did I say that I was going to boycott the company. It's obviously disappointing to be informed you have won something and then told later that you have not. I was simply stating my opinion on good "PR" when it comes to mistakes when running a contest to promote a brand. I also said that I understand that companies make mistakes. That is all.

    they have now added to the contest site a extra comment --you will only 'win' the contest if you answered the skill testing question AND received a confirmation email!
