I would take a guess that the bananas were price matched with Top Food Supermarket in Scarborough.

so i'm just wondering how come every other walmart but mine seems to price match canada wide? i asked at mine and was told no

very smart doing that extra work ahead and breezing through the checkout with awesome savings!!

I thought that Walmart doesn't pm 2/$, 3/$, etc type deals?

They will if you buy that many. I pmed cucumbers this week 3/1.00. If I only wanted 1 they wouldn't allow it. Also pmed Honey Bunches of Oats-4 for 5.00. Asked if I could buy 6 at 1.25 each and they said no.....so got 4. If in brackets it said 1.25 each then it would have been ok.

Excellent post, thank you for sharing! I'm just starting to find ways to save and I like the idea of price matching but find the idea intimidating as well.
