I don't have one (yet) but I love the icecream/sorbet they make using apple juice, ice, spinach snd a banana.
. I also love the tortilla soup they make (that recipe is in the book it comes with).

I don't have one of these, but I have used a recipe called, "Magic Bean Cake" that is made in a Thermomix (not sure how different that is, but I used my KitchenAid mixer). It's a chocolate cake made with beans - I think kidney beans, but I used black beans and had fine results, DS and DH did not know there was something healthy in it until I told them!

I got a Bledec for Christmas from dh. I had looked at both and they are comparable in every way except the Blendtec fits under my counter and the Vitamix doesn't That was the only reason I choose Blendtec
I absolutely love it. The recipe for Popeye ice cream is amazing and our grandchildren love it. Who knew eating spinach could taste so goodWe all need a little sunshine every now and then

Thanks for all the replies!
We've had it for 2 months now and I use it every single day! I love it. I make smoothies every morning, I'm chopped cheese & veggies and maybe ice cream. I've made big batches of dressings in it. This is the first weekend we don't have something on so I'm going to have a go at making soup in it.
Holly, we got on that has a shorter container so it fits under the cupboards quite nicely, thankfully, because we don't have a lot of counter space.
Well worth the cost for us so far.
