I rarely post brags but I am so excited about my "new bed" brag!
Our daughter moved out of home about a year ago and her bedroom had become a bit of a junk room. I have been wanting to turn it into a guest room but just have not gotten around to it. So....when friends told us they were going to an action on Wednesday evening because they were looking for beds, we decided to tag along. We patiently sat through over 150 lots and, finally, they arrived at the list of 20 beds. The beds were all brand new ( very important to me! ) Everything was getting snatched up quickly and before we knew it, there was only one bed left. The crowd had thinned out and we ended up getting a Serta Adjustable Bed with Memory Foam mattress...queen-size...for $185! The bed is absolutely amazing. The head and foot are both adjustable, it has head and foot massage settings and it retails for $2,400. We saw the same model today at Sleep Country! Right now it is set up in the guest room but it may eventually make its way into our master bedroom.
We haven't been to an auction in years and we were reminded that with a little patience, there are some great deals to be had. Leather couch sets went for $300, Natuzzi sectional for $800 -- and of course lots of "frogs" too among the great deals. We will be watching the local auctions a little more closely in the future. Check out the auctions in your area. You never know what you might find! This thread is currently associated with: Sleep CountrySo many coupons....so little time!
