Thread: On a mission to Help people save!

I'm very excited and nervous! Many of my friends and family have been encouraging me to share my passion for coupons with others that are in hard times. I've been approached recently by two different people, requesting to teach coupon classes.

So I've accepted! On June 21, I will be teaching my first class! I've happily excepted to teach during a ladies bible study class of 6-10 ladies.I've been busy organizing and creating handouts for the ladies with as much information and coupon resources for beginners as possible.......I Just received the call confirming that there will be 25-28 ladies attending now!!!

Many of the ladies are single moms with young children and infants.
Im planning to provide each one with a beginners package.
dou-tang, baseball card holders, dividers, scissors, Printout of coupon do's and DONT'S,local retailer policies,
coupons, and samples.
I feel that I'm running short on a few essential things for these ladies though. I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago so I don't have any pad, tampon, or baby related coupons.
I'm not one to usually ask for donations.....but the date is approaching fast.....if anyone has some extra coupons that they would be willing to donate or even trade, I would very appreciative!
Pm for info!
happy long weekend!!

That's awesome that you will be helping people learn to use coupons. You could direct them to the U By Kotex site to print the $2.50 off coupons.

If you haven't already, you should try printing the $4 poise coupons. You could also include the baby programs (such as the Enfamil/nestle goodstart/similac) because that will help moms with getting baby formula coupons/samples
Good luck with your first class

Its amazing that you are trying to help others through your knowledge. You know good things happen to good people and you are a good person!

I think that your post has inspired me to do something for others too.

Not sure if you have these resources marked down, but Shoppers have their own coupons almost on a weekly basis. You just need to register online and they will email you coupons weekly. I find that you can actually print multiples for your own use as long as it matches the person's Optimum card (but you can only use 1 identical coupon per transaction). I have used it quite frequently and they have bonus Optimum points for customers with babies (v.i.b. booklet). I saw a post saying those coupons for bonus Optimum points are good till Apr 2015. I have benefitted in the past by managing to get free toothpaste (save $2 on any Crest toothpaste -- last week's offer), free toothbrush (save $3 on Colgate manual toothbrush -- that's this week's offer, toothbrush is on sale for $2.99 in my area), $1.99 on any eggs including Omega-3s, and $10 when you spend $30+ on Saturday and Sunday just to name a few.
Also, I don't have a baby, but I have opened an account to collect Pampers Rewards so that I can get gifts for my friend's babies as some generous SC members post them online on a regular basis. For moms who use that brand, you can also introduce them to the rewards system.
