First Recycle Walk :)

My mom (penzi's mom) and I just got back from our first recycle walk. We did about 6 blocks. Unfortunately many of her neighbours had put their recycle out last night and it rained, so many of the bins were soaking wet. We were dodging the recycle truck on some streets. And there were bees! So many bees! So our walk was not as successful as we had hoped (no Kellogg's cereal boxes with the gas card ) but we didn't do too badly:
2 Nutrigrain, 1 Special K and 1 Fibre Plus - for the send 3 box tops get a $5 gift card offer
4 15 pt Aeroplan PINs - haven't tried yet
7 Stouffer's PINs - I just entered them, all worked
One Smartsource (we saw a few other inserts but they were wet )

Next time we will start earlier so we can get more bins before the recycle truck does!

Sweet, I did my 2nd walk the other night and got 6 smart source, 1 shreddies box with coupies and 3 other piles of coupons! So excited about it all!!!

i did mine too for the first time bout 3 weeks ago with my daughter...found free banana coupon on the cereal box and lot and lots of inserts....i told my girl i we will only do it if theres an insert that came out on that week so since today smartsourceor redplum(i think will be today), we will (hopefully it wont rain) this week good excercise too
