This is an old post but I was just going through it, and thinking I sure have saved a lot of money on lunches since I started working at home. Which brings me to something I never buy any more which is pens, you can find those for free all over, and in my case work sends me ones all the time.

I guess for us this expense is well worth the price.
Putting money into vending machines, especially pop machines.

Popular in Ontario to rent hot water tank. ( I looked at a house not long ago and they rented the furnace! No thanks!!!) Renting a hotwater tank makes sense where there is hard water. It kills the tank so unless you have a water softener (more $) then it makes sense to rent it and have free service and replacement.Quote:
