Interesting... Coupon scanned

Was at NF today buying some rasberries, and was going to use the some printable driscolls $0.50 off coupon(from their site) to get them for $0.47. Well the cashier tried to scan it and it actually took off the coupon value.


I know this is common practice in the US but have never seen a coupon in Canada be scanned sucessfully... hopefully this is more common practice and is able to weed out some of the fraudulent coupon usage.

i used my 0.50 driscolls coupon a couple days ago, and the same thing at no frills, she scanned the coupon and it worked....

Yeah some printable ones do. My $1 Life Choices printables scan as well. (BTW, I have some $1 Driscolls printables for trade- I have too many to use them all by expiry)

I thought NF didn't take printables though?

It is their policy to take them. I have had issues in the past but after contacting head office they usually straighten out the store.
