granger sounds like you got a steal of a deal, since you have the house fund that's great, no guilty feelings needed and hey we all save in our own ways
I'm tire and the shows on tv this evening suck - seriously you would think that there would be tons of choices - yes perhaps but nothing that I want to watch so I will be off to bed shortly, wishing everyone a wonderful nights sleep
Curbside find on our way to beach. Crib toy, wooden cradle, rocking horse and 2 beautiful perfect like new kids rocking chairs ( wooden). Hope to make a few bucks for the hockey jar :).
Sept thread title idea-Skipping through September Frugally (may as well have fun with it)
Am feeling stumped about sewing. While I have patterns for summer attire, I've used up what suitable fabrics there were for the season (no funds for more fabric or notions). So I will have to tackle a couple of projects put on hold and meant for cooler weather just to clear the fabric out of the bin and know that the projects are done. At least I will be using up the thread spools on hand!
I`ve never tried making anything like that. Good luck with it.
Don`t get me wrong...I`m happy that the stuff is moving. I`m just so afraid that my wrists and hands won`t be able to handle the volume on a long term basis. Right now I would love some help. I keep kidding hubby about putting him to work lol
It`s a great feeling to get things cleaned out and projects finished.
off to Paris-6 hours on the high speed train!
Citric acid is a component of lemon juice, but not lemon juice itself. It's also in limes, oranges, and other citrus fruits (so that's where the name comes from). The last time I saw it was in a lab and it was a solid white powder.
Sorry, just popping my nose in to see some familiar faces. I miss all of you and hope I have more time to post soon.
sweet sparrow thanks for popping in to say hi
Lizzie have fun in Paris
Crochetlady you are doing awesome, we can only do what we can do. I know you were having problems with your wrists and hands/fingers hopefully that won't happen again, you are amazing and the quantities you produce in a day/week/month. Wishing you all the best with your projects.
Morning All,
Waiting to hear from MIL to see if a have a car to do groceries. My plan has changed, I will only be stocking up on bread, milk and meats and and perhaps a few veggies. The kids will be off Monday through Wednesday with the inlaws to Granby Zoo. It will give some much needed time to approach dh with our budget, the months current expenditures and a new plan of action going forth hopefully.
I also need to get dh while the boys are gone to complete some much needed paperwork to find out if he qualifies for another disability amount which will greatly help not only financially but for my own/our peace of mind. As some of you may recall our new doctor is a bit of a jeckle and hide, 1 day she is suggesting applying for this disability and the next saying he won't get approved plus a whole bunch of other things that she has said that has really upset dh and myself as well.
Anyways enough rambling, wishing everyone a wonderful day.
Good morning. Had another sale this morning. A too small Halloween costume! And may have another for the stuff I found on side of road this morning if she makes it before we leave for camping. Dining room is a disaster but going to keep posting stuff on Sunday and Monday night web. We get back and the tidy next week.
Hope you have a good time in Paris. You might not want to come home!
Thanks. I`ve learned to take regular breaks and the hot wax is helping a lot too. I`m finding it`s becoming more a job instead of a hobby I enjoy.
Good luck with the disability. It seems a good Dr. is hard to find these days.
