Is there any way to take posts from the game room out of new posts?

I hate having to scroll through pages of useless posts to get to actual relevant posts. Don't get me wrong, the game room is fun but its not why I come to SC. It's not like its a couple of posts, seems like you have to scroll forever sometimes.

Right now out of the top 65 new posts I see 52 are from the game room.

They are regular threads that are used by many members many times a day. As soon as one of the "gamers" logs in and posts in each and every thread like i do in my coupon threads it lines up with most recent posts so they automatically go to unread or new posts
Maybe the solution could be something like the ability to block "this thread" as there many people who come to this forum that dont coupon so this way they could block the coupon threads that get bumped 10000x a day too

Exactly as Anna Michele said, they are legitimate posts. They are from the Games room sub forum. There's nothing technically wrong with them, they just aren't what most people log into SC for. Often when a member who likes to post in the games room logs on they will post in 40-50 threads/games in the game room. It clogs up the "new posts".

It would be awesome to be able to disable game room posts for those of us who don't want to see them.

other parts of the forum as well...Personally I dislike all the voting sub-fora threads apearing...valid hreads for the mos part but still annoying...But less so since fallen Pixels has been pro-active in cutting down the necromanced threads..

i agree with darth regarding voting threads. most of the them are posted by users who don't contribute to the site in any way. at least they're in a separate forum.
