Nice shopping Holly! yes, WMs are hit or miss. I just avoid those that can't get over the one per purchase phrase.

My mom works at the Wal-Mart at Square One, she's not a cashier but she works in the department. She has told me Wal-Mart has a completely different attitude towards coupons and price matching now. Because there is so much competition out there they are more than happy to accommodate the price matching. She said it is so routine now that the cashiers don't mind.
I went to her store with her to pick up some Arm & Hammer. Lately i barely use coupons because of the stigma attached to it & I got sick of people judging me. But the cashier said not to worry, & let me use 3 arm & hammer coupons in one transaction. To me it makes a huge difference when they don't make you feel like you are cheap. We are all just human beings trying to save money for our families. If I can save a $ here or there by using a coupon I shouldn't be judged
Walmart in the states has introduced a program that is still being tested. It is where you won't have to price match anymore. Instead you just load a photo of your receipt to your smartphone using the app. Then it compares prices & you get the difference in an e-gift card. I hope they introduce this in Canada.
Whenever I go to price match I get really nervous and feel bad that it takes some extra time. This would make things a lot better for me. I don't use coupons a lot now but I still like to price match the produce. But I really dread going through the cash at times.Last edited by ilovecoupons23; Tue, Aug 19th, 2014 at 12:55 PM.

Thanks everyone. Yes like I said, I've avoided WM like the plague, and it is the first time I've been back in one since Target opened in our area. I'm sure that must be one of the reasons for their about face. I'm sure I will go back to that store again. I'm fortunate to have all the big stores within 12 to 14 blocks of my home so it's not that big a deal, but it is faster to get everything in just on place.
Hope everyone has an amazing day.We all need a little sunshine every now and then
