I went to Canadian tire two differnt locations to use snuggle and vim coupons. both told me they no longer accept coupons for products in which the coupon is higher in value. So i then went to SDM to use the vim coupon
they no longer accept coupons for more than the value of the product so i was unable to use the vim coupons because they are 1 cent more than the advertised price.
Anyone where they accept these coupons ?? so frustrated thanks you are all a wealth of knowledge im new to the forum and new to couponing.

Did you ask them to adjust it down to the price of the product?
Maybe try a different location...I've never had any issues with SDM (I don't shop at CT)

Actually doesn't it state in the SDM coupon policy that they do allow overage??
o
If the value of the coupon exceeds the value of the product, the coupon is to
be processed as equal to the scanned retail of the product. The difference will
not be issued as change.

Another option might be to take the flyer to another store (i.e. Zellers, Walmart, etc) and price match.

I had the same problem at SDM, but I've also heard on this site that SDM sucks for couponing in general and that cashiers make their own rules, not just there, but everywhere.
Best thing I've heard is to carry a copy of each store's coupon policy so you have something to back up your issue.
Walmart and London Drugs seem to be the best places for couponing. Anyone have other ideas on great stores to coupon at?

Rexall wouldn't let me use the coupon, but SDM would....I stores were consistent so that we don't drive around wasting our time...WM doesn't always have the items in order to price match.

Shoppers has not changed their coupon policy. They are still allowed to change the price of the coupon to the price of the product (i.e. product l.99, coupon $2.00) They can lower the coupon to $l.99. I know this because I work there. This is in B.C.

Is there a list somewhere linking to the coupon policies of various stores?
