How long would you wait for a trade????

About a month ago, I sent off an envelope of coupons to a member who lives within 15 kms. of me. I told her I wasn't really fussy in what I received back (listed a few things I'd like) and not to worry about trying to match the $ value of the coupons I sent. I didn't need them, and I didn't want them to go to waste. I asked for a pm when she received them.

When I didn't hear from her, I sent a pm. She apologized for not pm'ing me and giving me a rating. She did end up rating me and said she'd get an envelope ready within two days. I've yet to receive anything.

She hasn't posted since the last week of August. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt as anything could have happened....but given the length of time, I'm thinking of just giving up. lol

yup...sounds like you aren't getting any coupons. Was she a new member? Maybe someone who was interested in the site briefly, but lost interest in coupons? If she had been around for a while and had a trader rating then maybe she has been really busy with something else and she will eventually get around to you. Most likely though....you aren't getting your envie. Sorry!

I've given up...sad, though. I always try to give someone the benefit of the doubt, but it's gone on too long to remain positive. lol

She has a great trade rating, but has only been a member since May.

PM Sally if you have not been able to get this resolved with the other person. Yes, life happens, but she needs to keep up to her end of the trade.

It's so sad someone just would do this.
I did my first trade and added a few extra coupons I had. I hope you never have to experience this again.
