Hi....a few months ago, I started with an acordian file...then came a small binder...then a larger binder that zips that I carry everywhere!! love my coupons!
But...
I have too many! Doesn't matter how many trades/trains I do, I can't get rid of enough!
So, experienced couponers..what do you do?
I am thinking about taking all my trade coupons out and putting them in another binder or bin to leave at home. I hate not having them all with me though, as you never know what you will find on clearance! I don't want to go to a larger binder..this one is heavy enough as it is!This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Hi there! I store all my extra coupons/inserts/mir forms & receipts in a plastic table top filing cabinet that I got for free from my Mom
. They start around $15 and up at Staples and the folders with the hangers for it are $10 and up (I paid $14 for 25). I couldn't find the folders at WM but I didn't ask either. They can usually flip from file to legal size folders (legal are bigger and more expensive). I hope you find something that works for you soon!

i use something like this.. but it's plastic and a bit smaller then your typical one (not meant for full sized papers, i THINK it's meant for cards) i found it in the craft section at walmart (not stationary/office section) it works pretty well.. holds a ton of coupons i use this along with a binder (binder has 5-10 of any one type of coupon and this holds all the extra, i also use this as a way to file the coupons THEN put into the binder by sections) i didn't want to use hanging files because if they get over filled they no longer hang straight and things can slip out the sidesWhen life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

I use a storage box with a lid, I put dividers into it and everything in there is also filed by catagory just as my binders are. That way if I am going for a sale and need more that 1 or 2 of something, it is easy to look and see if I have extra coupns.

I keep one of every coupon in my binder.
I have a shoebox that holds all my doubles (with indexed dividers).
Extra inserts are kept uncut, however I place a little sticker in my binder indicating what insert I got it from.
Hope that makes sense.
Never met a dog or coupon I didn't like.

i've seen alot of ppl use those holders above as well.. as extra binders for your trades. i even had that system.. til i found myself wishing i had had my trades with me so i integrated the trades back in but have found minimizing what I had easier. i swear my binder weighs more than me.

When I shop I have my binder in my car, along with my shoebox.
I can always return to the parking lot if I see a good deal.
Never met a dog or coupon I didn't like.

I have all of my main coupons in a large zip binder. I use a large accordion folder (from the dollarama) just for my trades and everything is divided by category to make finding trade coupons easier
I don't drive but if you have a vehicle, you could always bring your binder into the store and leave the trade file in the car in case you need something out of it

Thanks for all the suggestions...I think, for now, I'll go with a shoe box and a binder.
