Thread: Free Dawn Detergent 266ML
-
Fri, Sep 5th, 2014, 09:07 PM #1
They have $1 items on sale at CT one is Dawn detergent the smaller bottles (266ML) and there are coupons from the P&G where you get $2 off if you buy 2 so its free (well you pay taxes) they might be little bottles but when they are for free you can't go wrong. So I got 12 of them and used 6 $2 coupons and only paid the tax of $1.56. So they were free just the tax man got his share. CT was trying to stop us saying that they were trial size but we called the customer service number on the Dawn Bottle and they said that they don't sell Trial sizes so CT gave them to us so we shared with the neighbour. The one location nearest to my house I just left because they were just so rude the 2nd location the lady was so nice so we gave her coupons to get her own.

Omg good job! I would never ever use a single coupon at Canadian Tire; they are probably the worst after Walmart..at least in Saskatoon!
EDIT: I think its NOT trial size. P&G coupons are all bombarded with this common statement 'non valid on trial blah blah'. I think they just put that on everything...EVEN at coupons for razors..as if there is trial size version of razors LOLLast edited by Arvilish; Sat, Sep 6th, 2014 at 08:55 PM.

Good for you for calling the company. I just love those small bottle of dish soap. I bought 2 a few days ago and I wil fill them out with the big bottle. Under my sink kitchen I have small bottle of product that I use and it takes less space. I also like the small bottles for my camp. Thank you for sharing ....................................

I thought CT was the place that was all harassing about using more than one coupon?? Did you have to put each 2 bottles through on a separate transaction? I was sure I had read a few posts in here where the aggravation was unbelievable. So glad you found a store that was kinder.

nice buys! Are there really trial sizes of dish soap? In my experience CT can be funny about coupons. I don't think they are accustomed to getting coupons for whatever reason.
