I would say the trick is to almost never sign into your ELF account, there's really no reason to, once you compile a shopping cart full of stuff, and go through with the transaction, it still registers the order as yours.
Another tip is to clear your cookies, no matter what browser (I use Firefox...). =) My Paypal for sure says I am Canadian, I've been saving the $8 for years.

Ok, I see the difference now. It still says "Shipping to Canada $8.00", but your total does not include any shipping charges!

No, it includes the shipping price of a regular Canadian order and its just kind of a hit and miss but you can pay $7 instead of 15. You have to use paypal if you want to save the $8, however you may use other methods if you don't want to save the money.

Hey guys,
I think ELF recently changed their website to a format that now requires the paypal shipment to confirm on ELFs own page and thus charging everyone the $8 extra plus more. Also, its not showing up coupon codes on the final statement!
If any of you have encountered this and have been able to get around it please let me know! I have a huge order just waiting...thanks in advance!

i tried it right now and i encountered the same thing, it says:
shipping - standard 6.95
shipping to canada- 8.00
so thats 14.95 for shipping alone now!

It always said that. If you did it properly, it should say that then on the next page after you confirm it, you will only be charged the $6.97 shipping.
