I'm trying to use up my stockpile. When I didn't have one it seemed like we used so much of the things I stockpiled but now I realize that we really don't use as much as I thought and it will take some time to deplete it. My hope is that everything is empty by the best before dates.
You're very generous to give away so much. Here's to your new fresh start. The best things in life...aren't things

You are very generous, and to help out 15 families is unbelievable!! I have cut down my stockpile as well it was hard at first but I feel better!! Unless it's free or really cheap I can't pass it up, but I want to use what I have..I give to my family and to the food bank..like you mentioned I want to use everything before it expires!! By couponing I know which products I like and which ones I don't..I look forward to your brags...

OP just curious do any of the 15 families you are doing all of this for assisting you in any way? ( transportation to/from stores, lifting/hauling items in and out or in other ways? ) Or can they themselves possibly learn to coupon like you do so well? I am not as generous a person with my time as you are, ( I sure do tip my hat to you though ) nor could I physically keep up with that challenge.
I suppose after a whole year away you have " stockpiled " the energy to start again, best of luck with all your deals!!

Thank you everyone for your positive comments! It is a lot of hard work but at the end of the day I couldn't be happier doing it. I have an extremely supportive hubby who encourages me every step of the way! While he didn't really like how much I couponed in the beginning he understands it not only saves us a ton of money, but savings go around! My "laundry room" is basically my washer/dryer and 5 shelves (right now they are empty). I fill those and when someone is low on a product they come and take!
Also, no the families do not help me out that much. My parents, who I of course shop for, do take me occasionally. My dad comes with me the most and pushes the cart (I HATE pushing!) To be honest all of the families I shop for are working families and just find it too hard to shop and coupon at the same time. I do give them odd coupons based on their spending habits and tell them to use them at the store though! I even match them up with flyers most of the time. I don't mind though, it's something I enjoy and I know it helps people.
HOWEVER, they do pay for the items. While they of course don't pay retail they pay on average $10/box which is why I'm not upset if they don't help. While that is usually the cost of the items usually theres a couple bucks for gas

aw thanks for the breakdown roxybabe39...I can now see it is for the love of it and to help others ( your parents especially ) that seems to be your main motivator, as I mentioned very generous of you. Wishing you plenty of shelves overflowing soon with items to share!!

When I first saw the post stock pile gone I thought something tragic happened. But instead a great story it's great when you can help people what a great felling. I hope things are well for you. Keep couponing with a smile ....
