2014 Advent Package Train ~Start Opening Dec 1~

Here are yesterdays' and today's gifts opened today - got busy with prep for hubby's work party so I completely forgot!
On the sixth day of Christmas my buddy gave to me: a pack of purex laundry pac's! wooo! we're just back from overnighting at a hotel with a load to do and on the seventh day ...my buddy gave to me a bag of Maynards Swedish berries, I shared with everyone a few handfuls and now the rest are safely tucked in the drawer of my desk for "emergencies" Thank you buddy!

fallenpixels has outdone herself!! A geocaching treasure was my gift today - a travel bug. I will register it online and name it fallenpixels and set it to travel to certain places as it's goals....fallen, where would you like it to go?

You can set whatever travel goals you want and hope for the best... one I picked up in Prince Rupert was from Ontario. My mom sent a geocoin which I will probably take with me to somewhere special next year in Europe and put it in a geocache there to start it off.

Monday and Tuesday are finally over! HELLLOO CHRISTMAS BREAK! (i have one very easy exam next week) What show should a binge watch on netflix?!

Yesterday I received a snowflake bottle stopper and a pen shaped digital camera (I haven't had a chance to see how it works yet) today was a treat day, ruffles chips, veggie straws and almonds.... thanks, will be eating one of them tonight while I watch the originals!

Day 5: Lots of Gum packages! I was on my last package, so this was perfect!



Day 21... For DH, because he decided he just couldn't wait any longer to open the gift for him! LOL Thanks for thinking of him Shkyle!!


Day 6: Cookie cutters! Hopefully I will get some Christmas baking done this week!

Julsie-pie geocaching treasure to me is pretty much anything to do with geocaching, but in this instance it is a travel bug which essentially is an item with a specific code on it that can be tracked as geocachers take it from one geocache and leave it in another one for another cacher to find and take elsewhere. You can set goals or destinations for the item - one I saw this year wanted to go to Alaska so we moved it near the Alaska ferry terminal in Prince Rupert. Another one wanted to go to Winnipeg from Prince Rupert so we brought that one home and left it in a cache near a trucking stop for the original owner to hopefully retrieve. You can name them and I'll name this one fallenpixels if she gives me permission and she can choose a goal/destination for it - I'll give her the code so she can check in on it and see where it has travelled etc. Good old nerd fun
