Question about SDM points - gift cards and stamps?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone knew if you could get SDM points for the following:

- Canadian stamps (on their site it says you can't get points from items at the post office... but at the Shoppers near me, there is no post office, so I buy books of stamps at the cash)
- SDM Gift Cards (on their site it says you can't get points from gift cards but then it says EXCLUDING Shoppers gift cards, so that means they should be awarded for SDM gift cards, right?)

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You do get points when buying stamps from the shoppers cashier (just not if its at the instore post office).

You also get points when buying gift cards.

They have discontinued getting points for buying bus tickets and bus passes though.

Really? Well we all know where I'll be buying my stamps from now on lol... i knew about the gift cards but I didn't have a clue about the stamps That's why people will usually buy a 50$ or 100$ gift card just before the 20x events so they get even more points

yah that's what i plan on josy, i think im gonna buy 10 10$ gift cards or 20 5$ gc and use those as i need them and then ill buy a bunch of stamps too great way to get 20x the points!

The 20X promos exclude SDM GCs and stamps.

you only get points on SDM GCs (not the other retailers), and yes, you get them when you redeem as well.

ok i called my shoppers to confirm and they said you NEVER get sdm points (especially for bonus events) for stamps or gift cards. dang!

I need stamps anyway, I'll stop at Shoppers and see if I get points for them.

you definitely don't get 20X on the gift cards or stamps but from what I heard on other forums is that you get the regular optimum points. I bought stamps yesterday at SDM and I believe I did get the optimum points for them

also keep a watch for a regular occurance once every few months they sell stamps at 10-15% off.
