Small town. By FAR. I always grew up in The city so I didn’t know any different. We don’t actually live in the “small town though” were outside of town. You drive down the highway and literally take a random turn off and drive five minutes like into the woods.I love it though.People are super friendly, always around to help you with whatever you need. Its nice knowing that if you leave something outside you wont be panicked thinking someone will steal it.I’ve lived here since January and have never locked the door to my house or my car. It’s super safe.
However, saying that groceries are expensive.I wait until Walmart has good sales and drive an hour to it.London Drugs is 2.5 hours away so sometimes once a month we drive down there and load up.My couponing will take a hit but I’ll just have to be very organized and make the trips worth it!

I am inspired after reading this.... and I want my closet back! I have baskets full of samples all stashed in there. Sample sizes are very handy for travelling... but I hardly go anywhere! When my brother & his family went to Florida, I gave them a basket of sample stuff (shampoo, sunscreen, etc, etc) that was handy for travelling....

I am still living on samples from 2 years ago. I stopped subscribing to and receiving samples last year.

love everyone's positive comments - I'll be gathering and saving some. Next year hubby and I are going on our "honeymoon" and have two trips planned so samples will help out a lot!

I used some of my samples up too, I cleared out some of the samples that doesn't fit my skin/hair type and donated to an associated organization that I go to. BTW, Way to go

Since we've all gone through some spring cleaning routines (thanks to the sunshine to encourage us to change household linens and vacuum dust from behind appliances), I'm going to advise that all SCers check expiry dates on the pain relief/medicines and give your local pharmacy any expired ones. Good to be safe when enjoying the fine weather.
