Wanted: Winter Coat!! Where are the sales??

Where in the city of Toronto can us ladies find stylish winter jackets?
I've been looking at alot of places and can't find any deals So maybe someone out there knows about a sale somewhere...also plus sizes would be preferred

I think it is too early for the really good sales. Winter coats just started appearing on the racks. there probably are promotions, but they will only be a small discount off the full price. If you can hang on a little longer, the discounts will get steeper as stores look to clear space (and coats take up a lot of space) for holiday items. Perhaps after Halloween?

the best discounts are found after the holiday season when stores are really desperate to clear floor space for new collections (resort wear, early spring). however, your size / style may not be available at this time.

Every year Penningtons and Addition-Elle put their winter outerwear on sale usually this week or next week for 25% off. If you go shopping with someone who is having a birthday and get them to pay for you you get an additional 10% off. My birthday is coming and I go there every year for my birthday and try to buy myself something nice....and always look at the coats first....

I do this for my bathing suit because my b-day is in the summer, hehe.

Wish I knew someone whose b-day is around now so I could do that too.

I am in need for a new jacket, mine from the past 2-3 years still fits but has gotten extremely dirty (has white on it) and even drycleaning has not cleaned it properly So it might be time for a new one.

I got my winter coat last year in October at Sears because they had a 30% off event happening and I honestly didn't know where else but Sears to find a winter coat that wasn't a ski jacket type (I needed something that could double as casual and work wear).
