Back in the habit: SC, Samplesource and Mail Brag!

Hey everyone! To some SC'ers I'll be an old friend returning "home", to others I'll be a new friend...in either case I'm so glad to be back on SC!!

Here's my old fashioned brag (as we used to call it) on regular stuff that just makes our day/week/month/year!

1) Thanks to the Smartcanucks FB page post about the last round of Samplesource freebies, I was able to snag one before they ran out! Happy mail day when that arrived! Have tried most items now and am really happy for the "try before you buy" offer. Awaiting the follow up survey.


2) As part of the Samplesource offer, I was able to choose another freebie! I forget the choices but I selected the 6-months free subscription to Canadian Living magazine! It arrived today with a few other inserts and tons of coupons! So excited about these wonderful extras. Also shown in the photo are coupons from Poise and my websaver coupies! Loving it!


3) Since my recent return to SC I've collected tear pad coupies, inserts and done several call-ins for coupons that I've been lax on. Anywho, these coupons, plus the ones on their way and a coupon train that will be on its way to me soon means it's time to bring out the big guns...from small accordion file to my adored Coupon Binder!! Ah bindy-friend, I've missed you!


Thanks again to this wonderful community of savvy shoppers. Picking up where I left off would have been much harder were it not for the great posts in all categories of the SC website. I look forward to reading more of your savings journeys and can't wait to share mine as they happen!

Welcome back to SC!! I've also taken a hiatus & am returning to save save SAVE once again!! Love the chats, the tips & the how to's on this site & like you, am looking forward to getting back into the habit of coupons & saving to the N'th degree once again!! Just did my first SDM redemption tonight & although it wasn't the biggest of most, it was $115 out the door for $14.47 so my Christmas shopping has begun!! Next on the PC Points to gather more gifts & then to Swagbucks to see what I can scrounge up there!

Since last post I signed on to the pc plus website and loaded my first set of offers. I've had the fob and PC MC for a while now but never linked them or loaded the offers til this weekend. Now that a No Frills is nearer to me, I'll be shopping there and at RCSS more often...following the PC Plus thread for tips! Hooray for progress! Off to Metro soon to take advantage of the "$5 of $15 or more in fresh seafood" coupon!

One more thing checked off the list: I finally figured out what this whole BzzAgent thing is and signed up this weekend! Completed all the surveys and scored some extra points for doing that...though I'm still a bit fuzzy on how those points works. Anywho, hopefully I'll be chosen for a campaign.
