    Hello all!
My coupon binder was recently stolen by an EX-roomie (she was too unorganized and lazy to create her own), so I decided to join smartcanucks and start over. I'm looking for some new ideas to create a functional coupon binder! If you could post what has worked for you in the past, or is currently working now it would be greatly appreciated!!

i knew how it felt to have lost coupons but I started again and funny cause the other day, my hubby just suggested to buy a nice one that i have been scouting for at etsy's. I dont want to bring a binder with me so a nice coupon purse is perfect for me.

How do you keep your coupon purse organized? I am so afraid that if I can't see my coupons I would forget what I have to use and what I want to trade!

I have a big binder... But I have recently been asked to be on a new television show, so I think I may switch soon! A coupon purse sounds really nice. . .

I have the baseball card pockets as well as some half page sleeves and full page sleeves, works great for websaver, tearpads and printables. I see lots of people with their tearpads shoved into baseball card sleeves and it looks ridiculous and would seem so hard to see what they are.
I also highlight my expiry dates different colours by month helps alot to see when things expires and to clean out the expired coupons. Cashiers also LOVE it.
My binder has a section at the ffront I can keep flyers for pm and a see through pocket in the front that I can put the coupons I'm using that trip in.

I have a coupon binder with the baseball card pockets for my "trade list" coupons and a small coupon folder for my personal stash. The binder is organized in alphabetical order so that I know exactly where to find everything, but some people like to organize by category; do what works best for you. I also take my binder with me when I go out, just in case I come across a great deal.

I have baseball inserts for small coupons and I bought a bunch of currency (paper bill) holders off of ebay. They are perfect for tear pads and hold 3 to a page. I sort my binder by category then by date. In the grocery section I will have all of my small 2011 coupons in baseball inserts followed by my larger holders, sorted by snacks, meats etc. Then the next sub-section is for 2012 coupons and it is organized the same way. I have a divider for grocery, household, toiletries, pet and other. I keep my trade coupons in a large accordion file that is sorted by similar categories and I leave it at home.

If I am going on a quick shopping trip I will pull only the coupons I need and I put them into a little pouch in my purse. If it is a trip to WM or a planned couponing trip, I bring the whole binder and carry it in a larger purse but I still pull the coupons I know I will use and put them in the pouch. I pull any additional coupons in the store and add them to the pouch before I go to the checkout I have been meaning to take pictures of my binder. I should get around to that.
I am looking for quick trades for my pre-surgery stock up!
