Shell AirMiles Changes & the new 20x promo

First of all, let is ALL be made aware of the NEW changes to Shell AirMiles collection rules:

Effective January 5th, 2015 (today) here's how AirMiles will be earned at participating Shell locations:

NEW Base offer:


1 AIR MILES® reward mile on a minimum 15 litre fuel purchase in a single transaction --
[yea, no matter how much fuel you buy over and above 15 litres, you only get 1 AirMile]


And/Or

1 AIR MILES® reward mile for every $10 purchased in-store in a single transaction (Before taxes and excludes tobacco products, service bay repairs, and Shell Gift Cards.) --
[NOTE: The Shell GC's exclusion is new.]


We should all be aware of these changes before we learn about the new promotion, also taking effect today:

20x AIR MILES® reward miles on V-Power fuel.

OR

4x AIR MILES® reward miles on Bronze, Silver, or Diesel fuel.


*Minimum 25 litre fuel purchase required per transaction to earn the 20x or 4x offer.

In-store purchases are excluded from the 20x or 4x multiplier. Any in-store purchases are calculated on their base reward.

Not a Shell believer , they price there gas 2.5 more than the completion. Then they give you 2.5 cent discount. !!! Please the Public is Smarter than this !

I don't often buy gas, but wouldn't go out of my way for that! One Air Mile is worth about ten cents.

Must be your local Shell station(s) that do this. Where I'm at the 7 or so Shell stations I frequent, the price is on par with everyone else, or a couple of cents less.

This is not the case at the Shell at Dufferin and Dupont in Toronto, they are always the Cheapest gas in the city.

Not cheaper than Dundas/Howard park .. Have a look and see.. I know ppl who come all the way down here for the cheap gas - and they are portuguese so if it were cheaper where you said they would know.. HAHA..

Great - so 10 cents for 15 litres even you put in 40. Why bother? Off to shop elsewhere with better deals.
