I've chatted with a few teachers and they complain how scared they are when a kid comes to school in a nice dress that they will ruin and the parents will get mad, in my opinion the parents have no right to get mad. That's what I say also. Parents shouldn't send them in clothes they don't want ruined. It's not the teachers responsibility. But hey, there's always those parents who do allow (or don't pay attention to what their kids are wearing) and then get upset at the teacher.

We have school clothes, play clothes (school clothes that are too ruined to keep wearing out) and then Church/fancier event clothes.
