well it's pretty easy to be a late night person when your on the west coast.. it seems most on here are from the eastern side of canada

i'm avoiding doing chores but i may end up spending tomorrow doing them.. my kidlet countdown has started she's due back thursday and i've gotta go drive to get her thursday.. wednesday evening i have a movie that's going to suck up a good chunk of the day so that really only leaves tomorrow completely free

So true! My people on the other chat thread are just starting their day. I always feel like such a diehard when I am convincing myself to just go to bed and someone is saying good morning. lol

lol i know that feeling i have a friend who works the early morning opening shift at shoppers.. she wakes up at 4:30am every morning and there are times where i'm going to BED just as she's waking up lol

i always tend to have a late night... it's usually the only time i get ME time and get to watch my shows and have a relax after the kidlet goes to bed and hubby goes to work... though with the kidlet at gramma's i've been able to watch my shows when they actually air... so tonight i went out and saw second best exotic Marigold hotel

don't tempt me to post a picture of my sink lol it's full of dishes that need to go into the dishwasher.. which needs to be emptied... we're currently out of forks

That has got to be tough...how long have you two been on that schedule? I can totally relate because I am in a long distance relationship...plus side is we are awake at the same time so its a bit easier to chat.

gosh.. he's been on night shifts atleast 8 years now... there was a point where he did night shifts at two jobs (full time at his reg job then 2 nights janitorial) for about a year right right after we got married.. but other then that.. he did take a year.. well 8 months off when missy kidlet was born (he took the parental leave because i was on EI when i found out i was pregnant with her) and he's been on the nights ever since.. the hours can vary by a bit but it is the whole night thing (goes into work 8 or 9pm comes home 5 or 6am kinda thing)

I have a dsihwasher too! But it always leaves crud on everything. I have dug the icky food goop out and ran it empty a few times....but it still doesnt clean worth a sh!t. Maybe someone will come along tomorrow with some suggestions. LOL! Cuz I hate dishes! And laundry.....

if he went back on day shifts i wouldn't know what we'd do lol it's been soo long since we've just slept together in the same bed i wouldn't know if i could lol plus there's a running joke that i go to sleep with another man every thing because i listen to audio books to fall asleep to (i've been cycling through the harry potter books for a few years now.. )

our dishwasher isn't too bad as long as you don't overload it... (i've heard tang can clean dishwashers pretty decently no idea how though) we occasionally have to double up on the soap and some powders are better then others we've found (hubby likes the power ball stuff vrs the sunlight tabs) for us it's just emptying it after it's been run instead of using it as clean dishes storage until all the dishes are mostly used up and dirty again lol
