I had a nasty bad A$$ sinus cold coming on last week around Sunday/Monday.. well I immediately took Echinecia(SP?) Vitamin C. Buckleys and COLD Fx 2-3x per day each.. depending on directions.. my cold was completely gone by the Wednesday night/Thursday morning... good thing as I had to work elections..
normally my colds last 7-10 days.Be Strong

Stock up on zinc lozenges, some echinacea (never sure if I've spelled that correctly!)and vitamin C. I wouldn't waste $49.99 at SDM on that stuff even on a 20x day.

all i ever use is echinacea.. like screamy, i'd never spend that much money on cold fx... go to zellers this week, their Truly vitamins are half price... that's the echinacea brand i use and actually prefer

Thanks everybody for the feedback. I hate to spend the money only to find out it doesn't work.

My mom uses Cold FX around the time of a cold and really likes it. Plus, she isn't sick very often. I can't stomach the price so I haven't tried them. I usually don't do anything other than eat more veggies and soups. I think most cough candies are just that candies. But if Cold FX brought down there price considerably! I would consider trying it just cause I know someone who uses it successfully.

we always used cold fx and zinc lozenges and it helped a lot. Cold fx is not available in the USA and we miss it a lot. Every time we have visitors, this is one request we have, along with coffee crisps

vitamin c supplements are amazing. I started taking them religiously and have not felt sick since. I didn't believe they helped that much and I don't think Vitamin c in regular capsules helps very much, but high dose vitamin c is much different. I am a much happier person.

I've never tried it, but in evolution we learned about echinacea experiments. All trials lead to decrease of cold-like symptoms! So it does work. :p

I've never used the cold-fx, it's way too expensive. But i'm a huge fan of hydrasense products!! Whenever I feel a cold coming on, I use it 4 times a day. Haven't had a cold in a year.... and i have two kids in preschool!

Never worked for me. Yet my father swears by it. Maybe it's all in the person's head....literally....whether it works or not.
