@crafter
I ended up buying the harvest model (thanks again for letting me know) I have always had good luck growing romaine but i have never tried in the jars. I got a pack of the romaine seeds in a assorted pack of seeds i was gifted a couple of years ago and they are still geminating. Post a couple of pics when you get everything set up. I am interested in seeing it

Awesome @Thatdone ! Curious as to whether you have an aerogarden seed starter tray? They are super handy in the springtime to use in your Harvest aerogarden. You can start up to 23 seedlings at one time and then once they sprout, move them into potting soil.
I'm sure Amazon will have a sale on the seed starter tray again and Cdn tire also sells the seed starting trays.
I'll go through some of my old pics and post them for you so you can get an idea.

Pepper plants remain in the garden though I picked off what tiny peppers were left last week. Mom will not move sage and basil plants to the garden so they will enjoy getting snow in the flowerbeds.
Reall glad I took care of tomato plants in late September. We have had several frosty mornings. Doubtful any garlic planting is intended. Guess Mom will deal with the garden next spring.
Feel for the insects still lurking as though it is September. Colder day today with promise of more rain.
I will look at seed catalogues online this weekend, simply to see what I have missed."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

Nice @Ciel21 and before you know it, it will be spring again. Perhaps you can check out the seed libraries near you too during the winter. I seem to remember you making a post about them a while back. https://greenventure.ca/hamiltonseedlibrary/

Hi everyone. Thought I would share some pics of our indoor gardening. It's always exciting watching a seed come to life.
From top left
Mini Me cucumbers, Tiny Tim tomatoes, jalepeno and mini peppers, Space Spinach, Asian cabbage sprout beside swiss chard, mixed romaine and leafy lettuce, brassica baby greens, cascading petunias germinating and bok choy and chard

The radishes worked!
A couple of them grew above and below the deck. Some surgery was required to get them out.
They tasted really fresh and had some heat to them.
This week, I transferred a few plants to kratky containers/jars.
Asian cabbage
space spinach (west coast seeds)
A test beet (I think I waited too long to move it)
Mini Me Cucumber.

Harvesting greens was fun. My aerogarden filled a mixed green container that I had leftover. I'm still learning which lettuces grow best indoors. The merveille four seasons and the white boston worked really well. The swiss chard grew quickly too.

Thanks so much @walkonby ! I was really pleased with how the lettuces turned out...the Harvest slim model that I got on sale for Black
Friday, really seemed to allow the lettuces to spread out more. It certainly motivates us to keep trying to grow inside. I have a napa cabbage growing downstairs which is getting fun to watch too. (funny thing is that I've never bought a napa cabbage before but I'll grow one lol)
