SOOO I HEADED off the LD today to purchace a few things..
and this is what i brought.
PM- PHARMASAVE - (2) tylenol cold and sinus @ 6.99
used $3 tearpad and $3 printableee only $.99 !
PM-PHARMASAVE- (1) CHILDRED TYLENOL @ $6.49 -used $3 printable
and $1.50 magazine = $1.99
PM RCSS- @ $5.99 (1) aveeno bodywash and (1) aveeno lotion $5 printable (which they reduced to $3 , $3 prinout , $3 tearpad ) = $3 for 2 !
saved about $29 !
I LOVE SAVING !
\
( i was told by the chaisher that we were only allwoed to pm 1 item per brand ! , i knew that was untrue since i brought a bodywash and a lition .. they were 2 different products.. its never a "brand" its "per product"
and then she was like to my husband.. are u guys husband and wife.. i was like Y ? shes like we can only price match 1 item per FAMILY ! i was thinking WTF ?! its suppose to be 1 per customer not family.... anyhow she said she will let it through "this time" .... okay i said.. we will seee next time... is this a rule ? didnt make ssence to me
and also .. is stacking @ SOF EASIER ???
i have never stacked there yet.. but thinkiings.. i would be better off there, since they dont have a limit on the pricematch .... and here @ this LD THEY MAKE UP new rules evertime i visit
and i also want to purchace more tylenol... so
what u guys think ?This thread is currently associated with: London Drugs, Pharmasave, Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, Save on Foods

You were lucky to be able to PM 2 of Tylenol Cold & Sinus. They are only required to PM one item for you. It is WAY easier to stack at London Drugs that at any Save-On Foods, in my experience.

That cashier was just being stubborn and making up her own rules, I have never heard of limiting pm to certain brands hahaha I'm not sure why some cashiers feel they have to make up rules trying to discourage customers from receiving deals, it's not like any money comes out of their pocket its just silly

Great job!! I love LD but some of the employees do make up their own rules I think. It's like that at any store I guess.

My SOF doesn't price match and they make up new rules each time. I had a few really good trips there but depends on who is working. Now we can't stack on 15% day and when I went there yesterday I was trying to stack for Finish Quantum and they said I couldn't use the coupons because they said "one per purchase". Duh, that's why it's call STACKING! Not worth the fight, I'll try LD next time which is also hit and miss.

The Fleetwood Save-On won`t stack any coupons that say -- one coupon per purchase -- which means they actually don`t stack. I`ve given up there. If you have better luck, then let us know. I have heard the same thing about Nordel SOF...but someone posted the Save-On coupon policy today so I am going to take it with me next time I try....

yesterday I had the best and the worst experience at SOF. I stacked at one save on foods for dove..I think the one in langley? then I decided to go to a different SOF in surrey (fleetwood) to stack aveeno and the person almost made me cry telling me I couldn't stack. THEN on my way home, I went to the metrotown SOF and stacked and got aveeno and sunlight.
so....hit or miss. =(

SOF stacking rules say that your coupons have to come from different media sources so using tearpad coupons together like the Dove ones is '-against the rules'. That said the Fleetwood store thinks everything is against the rules I have had the same feeling as you there. I am making personal note of the good the bad and the ugly SOFs!!! I am hoping the new LD flyer has some Dove in it so that I can avoid having to get it on Friday at save on

I know! I just got the LD flyer in the mail today. Dove is on sale for 3.99 and you get two free dove bars of soap if you get 3 dove products.
but yeah. I was so upset with fleetwood SOF. the cashier embarassed me so much and he was telling everyone else in line, it's not like the show y'know and people were staring at me as he lectured me... and I said, I don't even watch the show! almost made me cry... =(
