This is why I don't coupon anymore
I can never find coupons and it's because some greedy person takes whole tear pads and I can never find them on my 1 shopping trip I make a week. I don't drive and I walk or rely on a ride to get places and when I get there well there are no coupons and generally no sale items.
Greedy people SUCK.

Honestly I'm still wondering what a person can do with 72 deodorants? No one could use those even with a family of 4 before the expiry date goes. Was it a charity grab? Did they buy for the whole block?
I mean really just seems like a waste unless they are buying for a bunch of people.

I'm with you on this one....as much as I really want to comment on this topic, whether its coupon or product shelf clearing....I won't
...its such a touchy topic that gets everyone's juices boiling....a thread(not started by me) was completely deleted due to this recently....

The issue I have is this was not a 1 day sale, so there was no reason this person who took 72 couldn't have called the store before hand a day or two and said hey i am getting 72 s can i place an order, that way there would have been some left for others.... i do this at walmart all the time because we give to the food bank and to our friends church shelter. This way everyone can get in on the deals.....

I was actually happy when i got to the Lake & Lakeshore NF on Saturday because there were so many huggies wipes i couldn't believe it. This was after i had gone to the Welland Ave. NF on Friday night to shop in the rain and found just a couple! I went back there on Tuesday and still found lots! They do have limits if you are buying stuff with coupons (10) cos the cashier who served me said they don't have any deodorants because some people came and got everything they had with coupons. Whether they had a dozen or 72 and someone got them all, i would not comment about that. If you ask me, i think the Welland Ave. NF is too often out of stock on Fridays when the sales start to be just the works of extreme couponers! same with the Lundy's lane NF (though its slightly better here sometimes).
We also have to consider the fact that sometimes these stores put stuff with great prices just to get us into the store, they might actually have just a few in stock, but they know once you enter, you will buy something before you leave! So most of the time, the flyer prices are just to get loads of customers through the door - thats marketing for you!
I am sticking to the lakeshore NF from now on when there is a great sale. It will save me travel time since i don't live close to any of the 2 NF in St Kitts.
Happy shopping everyone!

I ended up going to the Milton store and while there was still no deodorant, I managed to pick up 3 pillsbury products, 2 pizzas, 5 lunchables, 2 boxes of dove soap, 4 huggies wipes (for my sister who runs a daycare), 1 jug of Purex, 1 jug of Sunlight (my mom) and a few other groceries.
Much better stock there than the ones in St. Catharines which had nothing but the kebobs I wanted on Sunday to purchase with my coupons.

I want to try and help some of those who struggle with the who needs 72. I do buy extreme amounts of products. The reason I shop like this is because I donate. When Goderich had there tornado I made a trip to Goderich with my family and was able to bring with me 40 bars of mens soap, 40 of womens soap, 20 bottles of shampoo, 40 razors, 30 cans of shaving cream, fresh fruit and more.... I'm now planning a trip to Hospice Niagara with my overstock, I hope this helps a little...I realize most are greedy but I like to think others think like I do...Cheers

Tigg's ... I was trying to make the point that no matter who did it...(doesn't matter!!) IT was a great deal and everyone is so quick to make a band wagon jump to make a situation negative.
Tara- As for the tear pad taking I have no problem taking them. I will not appologize for it either!!
What if the person who bought them... kept only 1 donated the rest to the food bank? or new of a few family's who are going through a few rough patch's? or gave them to a women's shelter, I know that the issue is the amount bought, but in reality we are all adults... and being so this place is suppose to be about supporting each other. I think we all need to realize that.
I am sure this is going to make someone mad. But I also have to throw this on here.
My familys well being is up to me. DH & I make only so much, so if I need 20 coupons for milk than darn right I will get 20 coupons to last till the expiry date. and hope they come out with more after the expiry date.
