I absolutely loved it, and there's a newer series out called Further Back in Time for Dinner which goes back to the 1900s. I think that family was amazing to have done all of this! The wartime ones were very interesting.Quote:

DH and I decided to watch the first episode of The Son ( a new Western starring Pierce Brosnan ) ....I am willing to give it a few more episodes, but it better tickle my fancy more that the opener did. I like Pierce, but meh? Something about this show rings hollow and kind of boring. We'll see.

She looks so clumsy in the kitchen, and can't seem to even poach eggs! Put a cover on them for heaven's sake! hahahaha!!!!
But it's all so interesting how things changed so dramatically from the 1900s to the 1920s, during the war. I love watching how differently the decor changes! :)
