Today's harvest includes 5 cups raspberries and 2 cups strawberries, lots of kale, Swiss Chard, and snow peas. Plus lavender for bath bombs.
Harvested the garlic that was planted in the fall and several heirloom rainbow beets. Picked over 154 cups raspberries so far and have made lots of jam; there are many more ripening as well as fall bearing types. Also made strawberry jam and picked almost 200 cups and the ever bearing ones are still flowering.
This was my garden 1wk ago. It faired the flooding and hail better than I had anticipated.

Flood water got into our shed, so some things were lost. Water was in our crawl space where our furnace is. Insurance has currently denied us and PDAP will only cover essentials. Fighting both right now to get as much covered as possible. We were told to treat the wet soil in our crawl space with enzyme and lime, but PDAP won't tell us if they will cover it or not. Not certain if some of it is sewer water. I don't know how to get testing done to confirm if it was sewage or now. Does anyone know who to contact for that?
Angela, check with the city sewer department. If it's not them, they can point you in the right direction.
