Also affected will be a Calgary warehouse due to also be replaced by a newer facility.

Not all union locals bargaining with Loblaws in the Ottawa/GTA region have agreed to a recent contract offer. Fortino's stores have accepted the offer and some Loblaws stores/locals as well.

Those who said yes to the offer work at 50 Loblaw-owned stores in the Ottawa area as well as central and north central Ontario, the union said.

Members of Fortinos’ Sausage Warehouse, 22 Fortinos stores, and 3 Real Canadian Superstores (RCSS) also ratified the deal in separate votes held Sunday and Monday.

Those voting “No” work at 61 Loblaw Great Food and Loblaw Superstores in Toronto and the surrounding suburbs, as well as London, Kingston, Peterborough and parts of Ottawa.
