I made a pot of chili yesterday and froze it in lunch size portions. No excuse for not having a lunch to take to work! Guess what I'm having today for lunch? :)
Watching if an item I recently purchased at Regular price has gone on sale... I usually hang onto my receipts for at least a month before discarding.
I ordered TurboTax from amazon, only to get an email 3 days later that had TurboTax on sale. I contacted Amazon and received about $6 back for the sale difference!
DH and I also purchased a mattress foam topper from Costco, DH noticed it had gone on sale a couple days later. Popped back into Costco and was refunded $44 for the difference.
Did my monthly hydro meter reading this way I'm actually paying for what I used. Dh has been taking leftovers all week for lunches (this a normal in our house) and I've been enjoying my homemade soup for lunches as well.
Purchase a bag of buns at WM on the clearance rack for $2.47 win win great variety and still super fresh.
Starting tomorrow Fridays we are going meatless so I will be making pancakes for supper and grilled cheese for the eldest as he doesn't eat pancakes so savings on meat and cheap suppers = more $ in my grocery budget going forward.
Dh returned a few items that were purchased and not needed or changed his mind so credit back on our cc.
I filed our taxes today and we just need to wait for our refund.

Ugh. Our internet is going up $4 a month. For crap internet at that because we live in the sticks and have no other options :(
However, I did not buy coffee at all this week, which means a few extra dollars in the pocket :)

I'm starting the work week off right! Brought coffee and lunch from home. My honey is making dinner before DS's hockey game.
So no $ spending day.
I brought lunch again today so I am at 2 months of not buying my lunch out, pretty pleased with myself.
It was also a no spend day too, picked up my fee coffee at McDonalds. Yay
