I can think of many more reasons too.
People finally getting it. There always has been only one option to get rid of Harper. Mulcair was just not well known enough in Ontario and the r.o.c. Mulcair never should have left the Liberals or he might be in Trudeau place right now.

Yeah, yeah. Still 2 weeks to go...
I'd read earlier about Trudeau accidentally calling Ducuppe 'my love' instead of 'my friend' in the debate, which is funny. And funny is sometimes good when things are so serious. But I just read the CBC article about it and they included a pic of Duceppe as he realized Trudeau had just called him his love.

I just about died laughing!
.
I laughed when he said that too , but I am not sure that was the look on his face. Duceppe laughed too. It was the "lightest" moment of the evening by far.
It was supposed to be "mon ami" not "mon amour"
Here is the clip. I can just imagine the memes this will generate lol

He tweeted this to his wife afterwards. "Don't worry Sophie, you are my love "

Wow things got vicious in my riding. A lot of conservative signs got yanked down and vandalized and people put up ndp signs in front of conservative signs on peoples lawns
People have been taking down Green signs in some of the ridings here, they have absolutely no chance of winning. They don't even run candidates here every election.
Although, polls have Johnstone running 3rd now when she was 1st. So looks like the NDP will only get 3 of the 5 ridings instead of the 4 they were slated to win. The Liberal candidate who has spoken out against abortion despite Trudeau's stance looks to win instead of Johnstone and the PCs have held the other riding
