Thread: Heartbroken . . .

After grocery shopping at the Superstore at Gammage with my husband and daughter on Wednesday, we came home to unpack the groceries and find that my coupons folder was missing and we may have left it at the store.
We drove back to search the carts, ask the cashier and customer service with no luck as it hadn't been turned in, called the next day and still no luck. My husband feels so bad appreciating how many hours a week it takes to keep up a good coupon selection, not to mention all the trades and stamps!
I guess its not as bad as loosing your wallet, but it sure feels like a big hole in the pocket book!
I had some very high value coupons in there but the ones I"m really missing are the baby food, baby cereal and diapers! The brandsaver that came out today helps cushion the blow, but does anyone know how to get additional Heinz baby coupons?
Thanks for listening to my plight, feels better to pout to people who can understand the loss! This thread is currently associated with: Guess, Real Canadian Superstore RCSS

That is so upsetting!
Keep an eye out on the "Lost and Found" London section on Kijiji.Step away from my coupon binder and no one gets hurt.

That is heart breaking I would be lost too. That is the only downfall when taking all your coupons, I never take my binder, but do miss out on some deals cause I have a coupon but it is at home.

That's awful! Like another person posted, I also just bring the coupons I intend to use and sometimes a couple of others I'd like to use if I can get a deal. I make sure to look at the sales first and I stick to my list since it helps my budget. Once in a while there's a sale I didn't know about that I had a coupon for but I don't lose any sleep over it.

I did this once at No Frills and was sick about it. However, some wonderful person turned it in! Since then I take my binder with me but lock it in the car. I have the coupons I need in my handbag and if I find a sale that I could use another coupon on, I just go back out to the car and pull the coupons I need. Actually, I don't ever go out without having my coupon binder in the car trunk....you never know when you are going to run across the deal of the decade!

My binder/folder was turned in! but not before someone cleared out all the coupons, pages and all! I had them all organized by tabs and in clear sports card holder sheets, and they cleared out all the pages, holders coupons and all . . . I'm thankful to have the shell back so I can get started and organized again, but its awful to hear from the person working the customer service that "a store employee didn't realize they had it."
Kind of gives you a hint as to who may have made off with my neatly organized pocket pages of savings.
Thank you everyone for your kind words, I still have my "for trade" binder and my trade list is updated if anyone is looking for anything that I can help with, I had 2 FPC Febreeze warmers held back at home that I have up for trade if your interested!

What kind of Heinz coupons were you looking for and where did you find the ones you had? just wondering if I can apply for some to then send you??? Not sure what it was you were looking for as Heinz makes lots of things....
Also hopefully you have a stock pile like some of us that you can use in the interim while you are looking for more coupons. I am sure I have some if you can pm an address and what it is your looking for as I won't be able to use everything I have and I seldom trade so there may be some....

I am sorry to hear about what you have been through. I do not like staff members in that superstore as they do not like customers using coupons. Ok, I can share some of the coupons from my tradelist. Sorry do not have any baby coupons at all. Also, I can give you a couple of recent P&G inserts. Let me know.

Sorry, I wasn't looking for any freebies or handouts at all, I didn't mean to offend anyone, it was just really nice to vent to people who would understand, you don't truly know the value of coupons unless you're a couponer afterall.
Again I apologize, I wasn't aware of Mr Boo's rule and certainly wasn't looking for charity, just a safe place to blow off some steam and get some advice on those Heinz coupons in particular.Looking for that unique gift idea?
