I certainly wouldn't want my money going to help any of these regimes.

I would love to see Persepolis.
Been to Cuba, don't like it, because I did not like seeing people with nothing next to resorts being pampered.
The people are beautiful, the country is beautiful, they just have NOTHING because of the boycott. Please vote daily for my ferret site.

Funny, I was surprised that Cuba wasn't on the list.
The places they mentioned are, for the most part, war-torn countries where it seems to be dangerous just to walk the streets.
I love the irony of some of the descriptions:
Being there is like a day in hell...the beaches are beautiful, though.
or
The country has beautiful sites...but the country's government won't let you see them.
BTW...how did the author of this article even know these sites exist if no foreigners are allowed to see them?
Cuba is a slightly different situation...it is American law that prohibits Americans from visiting, not Cuban law.

I this this line in the artical "Even travel to Cuba through a third country, such as Mexico or Canada, is technically illegal, and violators can face prosecution and a hefty fine of up to $65,000 upon return to the United States "
When did we become a 3rd world country? I didn't get the call on that one. LOL
