I have no idea what is going on with the neighbour she stopped mentioning him so not sure if his Mom said he didn't want to come. He has a number of OCD and Anxiety issues, they have been getting better since he moved out as he doesn't have that crutch anymore of his parents but not sure if dinner with us is too much since the rest of his family is out of town.

    youngest is at grandma's.

my parents called and would like to visit on Monday which is fine I won't tell my son until it's a sure thing as it can be quite disappointing for all. My mom is not feeling well today so we'll see if Monday is a go or not. If so we'll venture out to the re-use it centre as they are closed Sunday but open Monday, it will be a nice outing for all and the price is right (haha)

Still need to figure out what will be for supper, Logan is very easy to get along with so I don't need to stress.

Chester got out of the house the other day which I no longer let happen but dh was talking to eldest with the door open and you can see where this is going. He came back with blood all over, I cleaned him up and was not impressed as this happened the last time he got out as well. My neighbour came over to see how Chester was doing because he had to hit 1 of the 2 dogs that were attacking Chester. I am thankful because he said that had he not hit the dog he would not have let go....needless to say Chester has a leg insury (biten through) and several puncture holes on his neck. I gave him a hair cut yesterday so the sores that get more air and heal. I can't say anything to the neighbour (about their dogs as they were on their own property) because he shouldn't have been loose but the neighbour who broke up the fight said that had he not broken it up Chester would have gotten killed (maybe slight exaggeration I don't know). 2 dogs were both attacking his upper body when Dave (the rescuer) arrived and Dave said he had to hit the 1 dog with a stick of wood as he wouldn't release Chester who then ran home.....so hopefully the sores heal, his leg is doing better still limping but good grief that dog better not show up at my house. Dave said he was afraid that the dog was going to turn on him so this dog is not something I want to encounter when walking Chester.

@jasperandchar -time to ask the Universe to let up on situation dramas and give you a relaxing weekend where you get to watch/do/enjoy treats that you WANT. Reward yourself now if you have not after caring for your Chester.

Frugal tip of the weekend - don't trust the new bills in your pocket they are slippery and fall out of your pocket

My peace of mind esp in regards to identity theft I check our accounts and cards regularly. I couldn't go months with a little stress over not looking on my own.

You should make a separate "SassyAshley house saving" account on Tangerine that she can't see to move savings to so she can't do that to you.

I move "surplus" monthly utilities to a separate account for later months that bills are higher so my static budget isn't under (ie I budget 300 for power this may was 175 but august was 325 so the 125 I set aside from may was there to dip into for august )

#1. Unless we are shopping out of town we don't have much choice here - northmart or super A and....neither have really good sales...rhe sale prices here tend to be equal to the regular prices at Walmart or superstore in Edmonton grand prairie or lloydminster.

    2. our stock pile grows when we shop out of town then dwindles greatly. It goes faster being a family of 4 than it did when it was just me ...plus our home has less storage than my last home. I don't see near the deals or coupons you used to...esp before the dollar dropped and before extreme coupons or extreme cheapskate on tv l.

I've been mia...Tapatalk updated just after the first if October and for the life of me I couldnt...can't find the browse option anymore to find the new thread.

Last weekend I bought 2 84 inch curtains cut them both in half and made 4 curtains for the craft room ( bfs ex was moving stuff out finally 4 days after her "deadline of Sept 30") I also picked up 2 curtaib rods and an over the door shoe rack for my dress shoes etc so they don't get trashed in the porch by soccer cleats. I returned one curtain rod yesterday and used the other.

As of Thursday she's got all of her stuff out of the shop and after 3 yrs...I no longer have to wonder if she's just going to show up with a client without warning.

My car is "sold" with 1 payment left before the new owner takes it.

Also A bonus getting a profit share refund on an old credit union account.

I've never had a reduction on my bill in over a year for bringing bags (and not using a PC Financial card). The CSR suggested I call PC Financial because it was not a points issue. I can't even find it on google!
I've gotten it once but I had to ask for it.

Depressingly it had to be the 100 rather than the 20

There's 3 of us who agree how much I had and we looked at home and our friends place. I didn't even go far! we went from the door of a friend's place to the truck bf stopped at his ex place for raffle tickets but I stayed in the truck...then from the truck to our house and I went straight to our room to put it in the envelop with the rest of the car money.

It bugs me hugely because it wasn't like I was putting my hands in and out of my pockets or fiddling with it.

I guess on a plus side. ..the floors have been swept all the way to the bedroom I. Search of it.

I guess it's karma for 2yrs ago the 100 dollars I found and tried to find owners but couldn't!
