I'm having a sad/anxious day. Both cats escaped in the middle of the night (my fault), only one is back. Taffy is on the loose - and these are strictly indoor cats, so I'm a mess...

-I went to dollar store this morning and bought a few things for my childs shoes box -granger gave me a blog to read and it said a small flashlight or melamine bow and cup are great -so got those for 1.25 at the dollar store -got a summer hat for 2.99 and a t-shirt for 2.99 at carters
-then got 6,000 points off my deal of spend 20.00 on fruit or veggies at fortinos

Thought I was learning how to wrap my legs this morning. Guess that would have been way too simple. I have been put down for 20 visits...3 for next week. The wraps have to stay on so that means no showers except the days I get new wraps. They may teach hubby to put the compression stockings on.
On a happy note...I finally found what I`ve been searching for. Wanted to get my friends an LED colour changing candle for Christmas. Found a set of 2 with a remote for under $20 at the Red Apple store.
@Crochetlady take all the help they offer, could they have someone come by weekly to do a tidy up in the house and give you a break from some of the daily chores, every little bit helps.

I decided to purchase the big bang theory season 8 on ebay for $23 cd pretty good del considering they sell for $29.97 + taxes at walmart
They don`t come to the house. I have to go to their office 1/2 hour away. One of the joys of rural living.Quote:

I'm looking forward to taking our 3yr old son out trick-or-treating later today. He didn't get to go trick-or-treating last year because dh and I were part of a friend's wedding party. We borrowed 2 costumes from my Neighbour and we had been given another. Big brother is dressing up as a cars race car driver. The twins are being winner the pooh and a pumpkin.
We we baked monster cookie squares on Thursday. I reduced the amount of chocolate chips and M&Ms and included dried cranberries. I'm glad that I wrapped and froze modt of the batch because they are quite addictive.
Dh bought tickets to a ducks unlimited fundraiser supper on November 5. I'd hoped that a husband and wife friend of ours could babysit, but she had choir that night. So we have hired our regular babysitter and got her to pick a friend to come and help her. Having two babysitters is the only way that I am somewhat comfortable leaving all 3 children with someone. It's the first time that the twins will be away from both of us at the same time. So I started pumping and storing milk for a couple of nights out.
Our twin boy is having trouble with getting too much foremilk. This results in fussiness, extra gas, and green poops. We've been doing research to try and help him out. Baby girl hasn't been having this problem. Since I have twins, each baby gets only one side at a feeding.
When I weighed the twins on Monday, this was the result.
Baby boy 11lb 15oz, he gained 1lb 2oz in nearly 2wks.
Baby girl 9lb 8oz, she gained 12oz in nearly 2wks.
We already had to move baby boy's car seat up to the next setting a couple of weeks ago. Baby girl is still on the same setting. I'm starting to wash the 3-6 month baby boy clothes for him to start wearing.
Taffy cat hasn't come home yet....

Natalka sorry to hear about your cat she may show up yet.My brother had a cat that never went out,he was moving and the cat got out for 3 wks he didn't see the cat then a neighbor at the old place found the cat on my brother's balcony,so there's still hope

Nat: I am praying that Taffy returns. She is such a pretty cat.
I hope Taffy returns home soon. It's always so anxiety producing when a beloved kitty disappears.
I live in an apartment building so it's unlikely that I'll have trick or treaters coming to the door tonight. Too bad, as I'd enjoy that. Instead, I'll be taking pizza orders at home. It will be a crazy busy night but will be lucrative.
