New research shows that the active ingredient in marijuana may prevent the progression of the disease by preserving levels of an important neurotransmitter that allows the brain to function

How wierd is it that doing something that makes you all forgetful allegedly according to research slows down the disease that makes you forgetful ????? :? How would you know the difference ??

Speaking of forgetful, you forgot to mention the name of the disease. :D

Here's a useless fact;

Despite gaining it's notoriety in the english world in the 1980's, Nintendo has existed for a LONG time. Since 1889! They began as a playing card manufacture (Hanafuda cards to be specific), and despite their prominence in the world of video games, they continue to manufacture Hanafuda cards!!

(Also - in the 60's they owned a chain of "Love Hotels". Now we know Princess Peach's dirty little secret.)

The human brain cell can hold 5 times as much information as the
Encyclopedia Britannica. Or any other encyclopedia for that matter.
Scientists have yet to settle on a definitive amount, but the
storage capacity of the brain in electronic terms is thought to be
between 3 or even 1,000 terabytes. The National Archives of Britain,
containing over 900 years of history, only takes up 70 terabytes,
making your brain's memory power pretty darn impressive.

& just to note: 1,000 gigs = 1 terrabyte.

Actually, it's more then 1000 gigs to make a terrabyte, more like 1024 gigs. Although, technically, you're right too.

Confused? You should be, since this is what the hardware companies do to us nerds, short change us with 1000 gigs when it should be 1024 gigs. It's the laws of hex, but it's quite alright. 24 gigs doesn't make or break us. Not yet, at least.

And I thought the mind was predicted to be a petabyte in size, or in long form, 1,000,000,000,000,000 bytes. Maybe that's just the people with very high IQs.
Why should I stay? Why should I go? I'm no longer on here. I might ghost in once in a while. But don't bother talking to me, I'm not to stay. Sorry.
