What a tiring day of SDM shopping

A couple of weeks ago on 20x day, they were selling Garnier shampoo for $2.49 with 33% bonus. Some of them came with a bonus spray aerosol of dry shampoo. And I had enough $1 coupons to cover my shop.

Today, we were in another part of town so we popped into a SDM. We went to the shampoo section and Garnier products were selling for $2.99 and there were $1 coupons right in front of the products. You also get 1500BP WUB2 products. So we went to about 5 SDMs looking for these babies. Some of them were found at the end of an aisle or in front of the magazine section.

I now have enough points for 2 top level redemptions. Yay me!

I'm going to get 22 bottles for $65.78, use 22 $1 coupons, and get 16,500 for buying Garnier.

Total Points 16,000 + 16,500 = 32,500

I thought SDM no longer consider coupons value as part of amount spend, ie 22 $1 coupon -- would that count towards $60?

I saw the 33% more bonus ones at Maxi today and it was selling for $1 more than the regular size. Isn't it ethically wrong to be doing this? The bonus should be free to the consumer and not for the store to charge more. The store has a right to charge whatever amount they want and the consumer can buy it at the set price or not. Just my opinion.
