Just wondering what other people do with their optimum points? Are you a spender redeeming them here and there? Are you a hoarder like myself? Or maybe somebody who saves them for Christmas shopping? Just curious as I've gotten friends hooked on collecting. I've changed them for spenders to earners. I'm currently over 500k and thinking of holding out till 1 million!

I generally earn enough for $200 redemption (sometimes $170). Redeem generally once a month. I never hoard points as the program seems to be going down hill as things keep tightening up.

I'm diligent about shopping at shoppers. Always buy things when they have bonus points etc. It's just me myself and I. I use estee lauder and clinique skin care so I'm always earning bonus points on those. Plus I love fragrances!

I am a hoarder. I have just under 600,000 points. I redeem here and there but mostly just collect. I will buy things for family and friends as their needs arise.

I don't think the program is going downhill.

I've collected more points since they went digital than I have ever in the past. If you wait to shop when the digital coupons line up with in-store bonus points then you will collect a lot faster.

A lot of times I get 8000 BP wus $30 and always take advantage of this coupon. I buy things that are on sale and I know I will need in the future such as HBA and OTC products. I spend $30 and get $10 back in points.

Well... I get too excited when my points get over $60. So guilty, I am a spender. Usually am redeeming for groceries as we could always use those, and the other day I picked up some more school supplies for us gals. I always say I am going to save to do a redemption just for me (reading up on those beauty, perfume brags gets me going- HA!) But, I end up spending for food. One day I'll have that will power to save, save, save.

I always save them for Xmass and buy my Xmass gift. Last year was for my DH, a tablet, printer and ear phone for the tv. This year it will be a gift for me as I need a new Lap-top. Thank you for sharing everyone........................

I always save at least three redemptions for Christmas, usually 2 beauty and 1 electronics with some groceries thrown in. I do the odd redemption throughout the year when it makes sense ie. good sale with good points opportunity on something I want and bonus redemptions. I try to stick to full or half redemptions ($85/$170) to not lower the point value. Also, I try to stick to a monthly budget, so on the odd occasion I will redeem if the bills are high.

I probably average about 5+ redemptions a year over the past 8 years, this year will be higher.

I'm both I guess. I've done 6 top redemptions this year. When we were getting pts back with offers, I started doing smaller redemptions. I've done 9 - 50k redemptions, and 6 smaller ones. I always like to have a few redemptions in my pocket. Right now I have 4 and a half. I shop for 4 households though, so it adds up fast.
